Town of Železny Brod in collaboration with Mrs. Jaroslava Brychtova family created a thorough view into the glass tradition history in Zelezny Brod area. Professor Brychta, Jaroslava's father, was called to become one of the first teachers at the Glass making school and he became one of the most significant designers and innovaters in the field of glass figurine making. He had no actual workshop training in glass making since he was a sculptor. However with a certain experience and help of Mr. Halama, Mr. Stuchlík or Mr. Ouhrabka  he could realize his designs in glass and experiment with it.  I was happy to be there sitting above the new book together with Mrs. Laura de Santillana and author and film maker Mr. Gian Luigi Calderone in Mrs. Brychtova's home talking about this new publication.
